for the homeless and hungry, for refugees and those persecuted for their faith
for those who live with unrelieved chronic pain each day of their lives

Prayer for the Week:
O Lord, at those times when we feel most lost and alone, when our troubles overwhelm us and our souls are filled with pain, even when we feel you have abandoned us, teach us to wait patiently upon your care and trust in your steadfast love, knowing you will come to ease our pain and deliver us from distress. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Lord God, as we are wise enough to regularly examine our bodies, cars, homes, and other valued earthly things to protect against wear and deterioration, so make us even wiser to tend to our relationship with you so that we may live in the faith soundly and remain spiritually fit. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

Help us not slip back into the slavery of sin, but to freely live to show your love. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
